Escort

Escort rollers are available in six different series and a wide variety of surface finishes to satisfy the most stringent application requirements. Escort CK Series: Our most economical release coating. The clear CK is recommended for hygiene applications and for idler rolls contacting pressure sensitive or hot melt adhesives. Escort CW Series: All purpose, non-marking release coating recommended for hygiene applications and for idler rolls contacting pressure sensitive or hot melt adhesives. Escort CR Series: All purpose, high temperature release coating, excellent for adhesive curing and idler rolls contacting pressure sensitive or hot melt adhesives. Escort HB Series: Durable, contrast release coating. Escort HW Series: Extremely durable, non-marking release coating, excellent for hygiene applications and where durability is the most desired feature. Escort DS Series: Durable, high temperature, easy cleaning release coating that is the product of choice when a cleanable traction coating is the primary desired feature, or in corrosive environments and with molten plastics.

Ceralast

Ceralast ceramic coating has been formulated to precisely pick up and distribute ink, as well as withstand the effects of ink exposure and abrasion from constant contact with the fountain blade. It also resists corrosion, acids and caustics and provides a significantly longer service life than case hardened steel.

Nylon

Nylon rollers are extremely corrosion resistant and provide long service life. They are a high performance alternative to conventional rollers. Some of the performance attributes of American Roller Nylon rollers include… Nylon NI100: Replaces copper or ebonite in ink vibrator or rider positions in lithographic and letterpress ink systems. Nylon NI110: Spiral grooved nylon replaces copper, steel or other smooth faced metering rollers used in directory or commercial printing where "high volume" ink flow is required. Nylon NI120: Diamond grooved nylon roller replaces knurled steel or copper metering rollers used in lithographic ink systems requiring improved accuracy of ink flow.Nylon NI130: Knurled ink metering roller replaces steel or copper in ductorless ink systems.

Ebonite

Our Ebonite covering is naturally ink receptive and reduces striping. It is an economical alternative to nylon and copper.

Arcohide

Arcohide rollers feature a suede-like surface. The soft, pliable fibers are firmly trapped within the rubber base, offering long service life and extremely effective hickey picking characteristics. The rollers restorable nap and ease of clean up, improves pressroom efficiency and reduces maintenance costs

Vinylar AV

Vinylar AV coverings have specially formulated plasticizers which resist hardening and help to maintain dimensional stability, which minimizes resetting, and extends roll and plate life. Vinylar rollers can be ground smooth which ensures even ink distribution through the train. Recommended for sheet fed presses up to 15,000 IPH and slow speed web offset and letterpress presses up to 1500 FPM. Can be used with both conventional and UV inks.

Arcolon

Arcolon roller characteristics allow them to operate with reduced running temperatures and can help reduce hysteresis failures that lead to roller blow outs. They posses excellent hardness and dimensional stability, provide consistent performance, reduce downtime and maximize even ink distribution.

Performa HDS

Performa HDS rollers are recommended for mechanical applications requiring outstanding wear at operating temperatures up to 212°F.

Pegasus

Pegasus rollers have a foam polymer base and offer superior compression and tear resistance. The patented, high release topcoat prevents picking and wrap-ups from adhesive contact and seals the covering surface to prevent grease and other contaminants from penetrating the foam. This prevents premature roller failure due to dryness and loss of flexibility.

Ultra Damp II

Ultra Damp II rollers have a durable surface which has an outstanding affinity for water. That allows it to "wet out", providing more even dampening. The super-finished ceramic covering promotes high quality printing due to its superb hydrophilic properties resulting in sharper dot reproduction and less waste.

V-Series

V-Series offers superior hardness and dimensional stability compared to conventional compounds in presses using UV and EB energy curing inks. V-Series rollers resist end picking, provide consistent ink transfer and provide a long service life.

Aquahide

Aquahide has a unique design which combines soft, pliable long fibers firmly trapped within a proprietary rubber base. This material acts as an excellent replacement for sleeved water rollers used in a variety of web or sheetfet offset printing applications. The regrindable nap improves pressroom efficiency and reduces maintenance costs. Available in durometers from 20-55 Shore A.

Aquacel

Aquacel rollers have a proprietary cellular covering, which allows forincreased reservoir capacity of the roller, allowing for a sufficient and constant supply of water to the plate. Aquacel is less costly than dampening sleeves, and is recommended for use in the form roller position in brush dampeners and the form and ductor roller positions in conventional dampeners.

Arcolast

Arcolast rollers are recommended for high abrasion ink and water postions in sheetfed and web presses. Our new construction process, combined with high performance elastomers, means Arcolast provides long life in wear applications while reducing heat build up. The proprietary construction process, combined with American Roller's high performance elastomers, accommodates either conventional or UV inks.

Affinity 2000

Affinity 2000® has unique construction that combines a hard surface covering over a soft, closed-cell inner layer. The outer surface guarantees dimensional and hardness stability, as well as excellent cut, pick and abrasion resistance. Resetting is virtually eliminated, which increases production efficiency and significantly reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
